Wagner
Repro has been digitally printing CAD files since 1990,
specifically with our first OCE 9800 in 1995. There is not
a better digital printer for CAD output. This digital printer
will produce sharper lines, finer screens and print faster
than anything else on the market. Each of our machines will
plot 12 files per minute size 24X36. 30X42 size can be plotted
at 8 per minute.
When
this plotter is used in conjunction with OCE’s Reprodesk
software (free from Wagner Repro) it becomes your plotter.
The software allows you to control our OCE digital printers
for:
-media
selection -line widths -number of sets -completion date
and time -repetitive stamping i.e. “FOR REVIEW” -Pickup
and delivery
Our
OCE digital printer is also a scan to print device and a
scan to file device. Originals may be any size as log as
one side does not exceed 36”. The scan-to-print option allows
us to first scan your hard-copy sheets and then print one
set or multiple sets while only handling your originals
once. We can also change scale or media and provide copies
on bond, vellum or mylar. The scan-to-file option allows
us to scan your hard-copy sheets directly to our hard drive.
The system is capable of automatically naming each file
to match the drawing number. The files can be held on our
system pending future printing orders or copied to a CD
for you to archive. The latter is perfect when the project
is completed. Each CD is capable of holding between 200
and 400 drawing (files). These files are in a “TIFF” format
which may be viewed on any Windows or Mac operating system.
They are perfect for e-mailing, they are not easily changed,
can be printed directly to your small format on line printer
or sent back to Wagner via the CD or using the Reprodesk
software for full size sets.
